Our Club

First and foremost rugby is a ball sport. The ball is oval and demands very different skills than the game with the round one.

Rugby is a real team sport: a side has 15 players. Players are challenged in every aspect. Fast and nimble players are needed just as much as slower and heavier ones.

Players learn fairness, mutual support, sticking to the rules, trusting each other and they build their endurance.

During play the ball may be carried, passed – but always only backwards – or kicked. The goal is to carry the ball into the opposing in-goal area and ground it cleanly.
